If I’m confused, I’m in the right place
I need you to remember 
You are still loved 
Even when all of this falls apart
And you have nothing left to offer 
But who you are  
Not your skills 
Not your efforts 
Not your successes 
I need you to know 
That even if you never make it 
I will still love you 
You are made in the image of the One 
Who loved you
Long before you nurtured the lie 
That you weren’t worthy of affection 
Who loved you 
Long before you could 
Love him with all of your heart 
He wants to be with you 
To cherish you 
So you may know 
When it all falls apart 
And nothing else remains 
You remain 
Loved
