At Your Table
An open door
A comfortable chair
Invite me in
Teach me the value and the comfort
Of being invited in
And seated
There’s always a seat at Your table
When the rain outside
Is like the sound of a crashing wave
When I can’t find my place
Sitting on an arm rest
What feels like hanging by a ledge
Is there really room for me
Come make Your home in me
But wait
You already did
Please don’t leave me on my own
