Am I pain –
Because I feel it?
Or because I give? 
Am I?
Because I  give pain?
“Love is pain
As thunder is pain”
Thunder is pain
Is it so,
Because it feels pain
Or because it gives it?
As it cries aloud 
For all to hear
In anger
For all to hear
There is a heart in the hearing 
A fear lives in the noise
In every rainstorm
The thunder falls back
To give way to reckless flashes
And the lightening runs past
Lightening is open hurt
As it runs past
Waiting for none
Broken and bright
For all to see

Pain in a rainstorm 
As a flood of tears fall
In the hurt 
In the love 

In every rainstorm
The rain falls fast
For all to feel
